“The Eagle” Soars Free

Champion jockey Elpidio “Bobot” S. Aguila passed away early this morning after remaining in a coma for one year and nine months. He was 49.

He fell in a race at Santa Ana Park in 2006 and suffered traumatic injuries that prevented him from ever regaining consciousness.
